December 2022 [Runner-up]

As part of a mini hackathon, groups of of up to five members were formed.

The challenges included assembling a 1U rackmount server, check the server specifications, configured a Linux server, setting up and troubleshooting network connections.

April 2022 - June 2022 [Top 5 teams in Singapore]

As mentioned on the Recent Projects page, Team CenterPoint entered the final phase of the competition.

Overall, we emerged as one of the top 5 qualifying teams, out of a total of 89 participating teams!

Aug 2021 - Nov 2021 [Fastest team for Task 1]

As mentioned on the Recent Projects page, the Multidisciplinary Design Project (MDP) Group 19 was the fastest team to finish the first task out of 30 teams.

We were also on the leaderboard for the second task.

This is despite the brand new syllabus, which involves a new robot and the change in the competition format.

Nov 2017 [Nominated by Ngee Ann Polytechnic]

The Edusave Certificate for Academic Achievement was given for achieving good academic performance and demonstrating good conduct.

The Edusave Skills Award was given by the MOE to the top 10% of the graduating cohort who have demonstrated excellent application of course-specific skills and soft skills.

This is an first time MOE presented both Edusave Awards to Polytechnic students.

May 2017 [Graduating GPA: 3.86/4.00]

Diploma with Merit is awarded to the top 10% of the graduates for each diploma course in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and awardees are selected by the Assessment Board.

Oct 2015 - Apr 2016 [Semester GPA: 4.00/4.00]

Was awarded both as I excelled academically in the Year 2 Semester 2 of the education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Nov 2013 [Nominated by Teacher-in-Charge for VEX Robotics Club]

The award was given by the MOE to the top 10% of the school for the academic year.

Student must demonstrate leadership qualities, be of service to community and school, excel in non-academic activities and have good attitude.

After intense competition, we emerged as the best team for the 2013 competition.

During 2011 and 2012, we were also consistently in the top 3 teams locally.

Apr 2013 [9th Position Globally]

Woodlands Ring Secondary School Team 3 represented Singapore as one of the few teams to qualify for the VEX Robotics World Challenge

Jan 2012 [Runner-up]

We programmed two robots to operate autonomously on the playing field, competing with two robots from other schools,

After many qualifying rounds, we emerged as the silver medalist for the Robotics Challenge.
